Nexdigm (Formerly SKP Group) is hiring for the role of Assistant - Indirect Tax!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Compliance management under GST and alliedIndirect tax laws, such as under Customs and SEZ legislations and Foreign TradePolicy
- Computation and making payment of taxes on a timely basis
- Review of workings prepared by the clients
- Filing refunds under GST law
- Applying for registrations, amendments, etc
- Handling Indirect Tax assessments and audits
- Liaising with Department officers from time to time
- Undertaking research and analysis in relation to advisories and litigation support to be provided to clients
Requirements:
- Service orientation – should be aware of both - the internal as well as externalcustomers and their needs; and is committed to meeting the customers’ evolving,long-term needs – the focus is on service
- Result orientation – should be able to direct efforts towards developing andimplementing realistic action plans to meet business objectives; with a senseof urgency – the focus is on achieving results

- Professionalism– should have in-depth knowledge of all functions and displays not only requiredskill-set, but also ethics and integrity while conducting the job – the focus is on professionalism
- Cooperation– onemust ensure completion of all tasks at hand and simultaneously extends supportto team members and displays joint ownership towards achieving businessobjectives – the focus is on teamwork
- Communication/feedback– shouldbelieve in providing feedback to other associates and receiving feedbacks toenhance performance, thereby meeting business objectives – the focus is on opencommunication
- A strongpassion and interest for tax
- Should becapable of handling routine indirect tax work in competent manner
- Openness to learn indirect taxes
- Basicknowledge of indirect taxes will be an added advantage
