Marriott Bonvoy is hiring for the role of Assistant Credit Manager!

Responsibilities of the candidate: 

  • Generate and deliver accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Perform data auditing, verification, classification, coding, and reconciliation to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Execute Accounts Receivable period-end closing functions, credit processing, and reporting in line with internal policy.
  • Adhere strictly to company credit policies and procedures in daily operations.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Catering teams to assess and process credit decisions for incoming clients.
  • Apply strong understanding of accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and credit control standards.
  • Utilize ERP/AR systems and relevant accounting software for processing and information management.
  • Analyze data using judgment to determine compliance with laws, standards, and internal controls.
  • Remain up-to-date on system knowledge and accounting practices to enhance performance and accuracy.
  • Lead and develop the credit and accounts receivable team, fostering a culture of ownership, integrity, and accountability.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to ensure team effectiveness and goal achievement.
  • Ensure on-time submission of financial and credit reports, aligned with business goals and KPIs.
  • Accurately document profit and loss and manage accounts to achieve budget and performance targets.
  • Oversee tax compliance, billing accuracy, and timely collections follow-ups to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency in receivables and credit workflows.
  • Communicate effectively across teams and with leadership through calls, emails, and reports.
  • Serve as a liaison for accounting and budgetary queries across departments, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to support seamless operations.
  • Provide timely updates to executives and peers regarding key credit and receivables metrics.

Requirements:

  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; no work experience required.
