Goldman Sachs is hiring for the role of Asset & Wealth Management-AM Private Finance Strats-Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Developing portfolio management systems and tools to actively manage our fund’s performance, investing and capital sources at scale
• Providing quantitative analytics to optimize investment structure, pricing, returns, sources of capital before deal underwriting/at the investment stage
• Modeling current and prospective assets using SecDB priceables – driving cashflow projections, yields under varying investing/market assumptions, valuations, etc.
• Appreciating business nuances and implementing fund management models to track longer-term portfolio performance

Requirements:

• Strong quantitative background with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical discipline from a Tier-1 institute
• Excellent programming and software design skills in object-orientated programming languages and experience with database technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present complex technical idea to a multitude of technical and non-technical audiences
• Pro-active attitude to problem-solving, personal sense of ownership and responsibility, collaborative team-player and a strong growth mindset
• Ability to multitask across many parallel short-term and long-term projects, in a fast moving and high pressure environment
