Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate credit applications by analyzing financial statements, credit history, and other relevant documents.
• Approve or recommend credit applications within delegated authority.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and mitigate potential credit risks.
• Monitor the performance and health of the credit portfolio in the assigned area.
• Ensure that delinquency and default rates are within acceptable limits.
• Regularly review customer accounts and take necessary actions for overdue payments.
• Ensure adherence to internal credit policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Identify, report, and mitigate risks associated with credit exposure.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance.
• Work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide credit solutions.
• Train and support sales staff on credit policies and procedures.
• Serve as a point of contact for resolving credit-related issues.
• Prepare and present reports on credit performance, delinquency trends, and portfolio health.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Use analytics to refine and improve credit assessment models.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Conduct customer visits for credit assessments when necessary.
• Negotiate terms with customers to ensure a mutually beneficial arrangement.
