Genpact is hiring for the role of Application Support Engineer Consultant!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Provide enhancement & development services in a database environment.
• Responsible for creating, testing, and maintaining Java applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.
• Monitor of alerts, and triage of issues by performing environment analysis, log analysis, and providing tactical solutions.

Requirements:

• BE/B Tech/MCA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
  • Demonstrate experience in working on support, maintenance, and enhancement projects
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to identify and resolve issues and deliver solutions proactively and independently
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent in Core Java, with knowledge of data structures, collections, design patterns, and SOA
  • Databases: Sybase, ASE, and DB2
  • Unix, and Linux environments
  • Distributed Architecture Other Tools: Git, JIRA, Confluence
  • Good knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch is desirable
  • Good understanding of object-oriented principles with the ability to write clean code
  • Good re-engineering skills (going through existing code, figuring out the dependencies and data flows and documenting them)
  • Excellent communication skills
