Job Description:

Application Development & Management

• Lead end-to-end application development projects including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Manage enhancements and upgrades for existing enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, custom tools).

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, analysts, and support staff.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.

Project & Lifecycle Management

• Oversee application lifecycle management (ALM), ensuring timely delivery and adherence to SLAs.
• Manage software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Liaise with external vendors for third-party application integrations and support.

System Integration & Optimization

• Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and other enterprise systems.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and system optimization.

Security, Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure applications comply with internal security policies and data privacy regulations.
• Maintain thorough documentation for applications, including architecture, configuration, and SOPs.

Troubleshooting & Support

• Provide L2/L3 support for application-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Analyze root causes and implement long-term fixes for recurring problems.

It was originally incorporated as Genworth Financial Mortgage Guarantee India Private Limited in September 2006 but was later renamed IMGC in June 2012. IMGC provides mortgage guarantee products to lenders, offering credit default protection against residential mortgage loans.
