Swiss Re is hiring for the role of Application Engineer II!
Responsibility:
- Proven experience in requirements engineering and test engineering
- Proficiency in at least one common programming language (Python, Java, C#)
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and manipulation
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with vendors and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Experience with API tools like Postman or Bruno
- Understanding of REST API development and implementation
- Knowledge of software architecture principles
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis using formulas
- Test automation experience
- Experience with ChatGPT, Copilot, or prompt engineering
- Background in parallel or asynchronous programming
- Experience developing APIs
- VBA/PowerQuery skills for Excel
- Azure DevOps experience
- Familiarity with sFTP tools like FileZilla
- Experience in development on Palantir Foundry
