Konrad Technologies is hiring for the role of Application Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Interact with product management/project management, site leader, and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives.
• Review requirements, specifications, user guides, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed and maintained.
• Monitor and operate test machines used for testing customer products onsite, including machine assembly, calibration, retrofit, improvement, and maintenance.
• Provide high-quality technical support to customers, including fixing existing issues, preventing risks, installation, and training to users.
• Conduct efficient and effective debugging on test machines.
• Research and document bug reports following agreed-upon processes immediately upon discovery of a quality problem.
• Assist supervisor (site leader) in the creation of project status reports and metrics, prepare test plans, and schedules. Report common customer complaints to the site leader for future reference.
• Repair small damaged parts onsite under the guidance of the repair center.
• Provide technical guidance to junior-level test engineers and/or test technicians.
• Provide construction ideas and technical support to the team.
• Maintain product manuals and ensure confidentiality by not sharing any documents related to the product without management permission.
• Ensure that any parts needing replacement are available in stock and keep an inventory of equipment required for repair work.
• Conduct regular safety checks on all machines to ensure the safety of workers.
• Work on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned that will contribute towards team, department, and company goals.
• Provide on-the-job training to new engineers.
• Self-improve on technical skills.
• Provide technical assistance, diagnostic help, support, and advice within designated teams and for other teams and departments within the organization.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor and/or manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or an equivalent qualification.
