ABB is hiring for the role of Application Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Create concepts and requirements for intelligent machine automation.
• Develop software using the engineering tool "Automation Studio".
• Automate and test the latest product developments and technologies.
• Commission solutions at customers' sites.
• Perform survey work, standard computations, analysis, and basic design tasks.
• Exercise judgment on limited details of work and the application of standard methods.
• Prepare project documentation within the scope of deliverables.
• Assist customers with technical issues.
• Interact with official contacts, contractors, and other staff within the scope of deliverables.
• Support communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings.
• Participate in workshops related to engineering design, tools, and processes.

Requirements:

• Immerse in software development for automation technology and machine automation development.
• Demonstrate 0 to 3 years of experience in machine automation and installation & commissioning.
• Possess enhanced knowledge of automation/electrical (PLC, drives, control systems, motion control).
• Exhibit passion for being a proactive, communicative person, able to work independently.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical/electronic/instrumentation/mechatronics).
• Communicate effectively in Local Language and English.
• Hold India-specific VISA/work permit.
