Schneider Electric is hiring for the role of Application Design Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Creating the Database and maintaining the Library for Engineering tools.
- Creating Symbols Macros and material codes Based on Requests received.
- Training the other user on the engineering tools Called SEE-XP.
- Preparing a manufacturing bill of materials incorporating electrical and mechanical components of switchboards using SAP.
- Assisting regular meetings with external customers the sales team to discuss and resolve customer comments and obtain approvals from customers.
- Coordinating with internal departments like project management, tendering, operations, and testing teams will have to be carried out to resolve gaps and issues in projects.
- Working on Cost reduction, and continuous improvement projects to improve engineering efficiency and bring profitability to the organization.
Requirements:
- B.E/Diploma in Electrical Engineering degree holder.
- 2-4 years of experience in industry manufacturing medium voltage or low voltage switchboards.
- Good knowledge in generating circuit drawings incorporating protection relays, circuit breakers and electrical components like CTs, VTs, Surge arrestors, and meters.
- Conversant in preparing outline drawings, and foundation drawings of switchgear panels.
- Conversant in the estimation of product cost based on the customer specifications.
- Basic knowledge of Autocad. Knowledge of using E-Plan, SEE-XP will be an added advantage.
- The candidate should have good co-ordination, and communication skills in order to work as a team to resolve complicated issues and drive projects towards efficiency.
