Wipro is hiring for the role of Application Architect!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Help customers with their Cloud IT Strategy and Roadmap development based on their business strategies (capturing current state, defining future state-to-be architecture leveraging Cloud Foundry) and building Transition state architecture.
• Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the Cloud platforms.
• Drive automation of the repetitive tasks, innovate and build reusable modules. 
• Evangelize and execute solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. 
• Work in partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of Cloud.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of Cloud platforms, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. 
• Build good relationships with senior technical individuals within customer organizations to enable them to be cloud advocates.
• Ensure that solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Conduct discovery and assessment of the applications for R-Lane analysis.
• Create an enterprise-wide architecture that ensures systems are scalable, reliable, and manageable.
• Provide technical leadership to the design, development and implementation of custom solutions through thoughtful use of modern technology.

Requirements: 

• Proficiency in cloud-native services with popular CSPs such as Google - IaaS & PaaS 
• Technical understanding of architecture design principles, framework and documentation 
• Domain/Industry Knowledge - Awareness and knowledge of broad economic, demographic, technological and global trends within own ecosystem  
• Experience in developing Innovative and Transformative solutions across technologies like - Content Management, e-commerce, Mobile, Enterprise Business Integration, API management
• Should possess excellent communication and leadership skills 
• Hands-on experience in the design, development/migration and implementation of applications to CSP 
• Having hands-on experience in Kubernetes, DevOps tools, Terraform and microservices architecture-based application design will strengthen the role  
• Knowledge of Data management, Data Analytics and concepts of Gen-AI/Vertex AI will be an added advantage 
• Travel is mandated for the role (Min. 50%)
