Harman International is hiring for the role of Android Framework Developer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Design, develop, and maintain native Android framework components
- Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements for the Android framework
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Android framework issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of Android framework components with other systems
- Write clear and concise documentation for Android framework components
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Android framework developments and trends
- Mentor and guide junior developers in the use of the Android framework
- Contribute to the open-source Android community
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3-14 years of experience in developing Android applications
- In-depth knowledge of the Android framework, including Binder, IPC, JNI, and NDK
- Experience with Android build systems, such as Gradle and Bazel
- Proven ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for Android development and the open-source community
