We are a financial edu—gaming platform based out of Gurgaon focused on delivering a gamified “learn while you earn” application that allows users to participate in and test their strategies on financial markets while also rewarding them with real money. We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. As android developer at Toroi you will work with a team of talented engineers and designers to design and build the next iteration of our flagship mobile application, Fantasy Trading League.  

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Writing clean and efficient codes for Android applications

• Monitoring the performance of live apps and working on optimizing them

• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs, and enhancing application performance

• Performing unit and instrumentation tests on code

• Collaborating with cross-functional, teams to define and design new features

• Staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols

Academic Qualifications / Skills required:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

• Prior experience as an Android Developer using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android NDK

• Experience in publishing applications on the Google Play store

• Proven work experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/ MVC/MVP

• Familiarity with RESTfuI APIs to effectively integrate Android applications

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git

• Familiarity with various testing tools
