About this Job
Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Requirements:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android, Flutter, Kotlin platform
- Experience with JSON, XML, JavaScript, and interfacing applications to server side API’s.
- Proven knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
