Android Developer Job in Pune at Winjit Technologies

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance native Android applications using Java/Kotlin.
• Work on Android OS compilation, AOSP customization, and build processes.
• Perform kernel-level modifications, debugging, and system optimization.
• Integrate and configure MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions.
• Manage migration projects involving OS upgrades and device transitions.
• Deploy, test, and maintain POS devices for enterprise use cases.
• Work on rooted devices and implement security controls & hardening measures.
• Collaborate with product, hardware, and QA teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Work onsite from Winjit's Pune office throughout the contract period.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Android Native Development.
• Strong command over Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, AOSP.
• Proven experience with:
• OS compilation & system-level development
• Kernel-level development & debugging
• MDM platforms (SOTI, AirWatch, MobileIron, etc.)
• POS device deployment & troubleshooting
• Rooted devices and Android security mechanisms
• Excellent debugging skills using ADB, logcat, and kernel logs.
• Experience working on hardware-level integrations (preferred).
