Android Developer Job in Noida at Edneed Technology Private Limited

We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of android devices including mobile phones and tablets. Your primary focus will be the development of android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products are essential.

Responsibilities

• Must be familiar with Google Play Store procedure to submit/update the applications in compliance
• Understanding of Googles Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with Android platforms.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Should be well versed with mobile application architecture

Skills Required

• At least 3 years of experience in designing and developing native mobile applications
• Good communication skills for a highly collaborative software development process Proficient in Kotlin
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Must have worked on any of Junit, Mockitor, Espresso Unit Test tools/libraries at least in one project
• Experience in using Google Fit at-least in one project is a plus
• Experience in developing an e-Commerce application is a plus
• Good to have experience in using Google Pay or integrating any payment gateways such as Paypal, Stripe etc.
• Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Excellent verbal communication, analytical skill and critical thinking.
• Efficient and independently motivated
• Solid understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery best practices
• Knowledge of Jenkins, Jira, Dockers, or Git – DevOps Data Pipeline
• Must have experience in Agile development methods.n
