Key Responsibilities:

Android Studio Development:

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Android Studio.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Ensure the application’s functionality, performance, and user experience are top-notch across a range of Android devices.

Backend Integration (PHP):

• Integrate mobile apps with PHP-based backend services via RESTful APIs.
• Work closely with the backend team to implement new features and troubleshoot issues related to API connectivity and data exchange.

Database Integration (Oracle):

• Design and implement the integration of Oracle databases with Android apps for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Write SQL queries and work with Oracle Database to ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance.
• Application Performance & Optimization:
• Continuously improve the performance and efficiency of the app.
• Address and fix bugs, errors, and app crashes.
• Monitor app performance and make necessary adjustments for better speed, battery usage, and stability.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., backend developers, product managers, UI/UX designers) to ensure the smooth integration of all aspects of the app.
• Document development processes and provide clear communication on progress, challenges, and solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with Android Studio and Android development.
• Solid understanding of Android UI/UX design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience integrating with PHP backend services via RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in working with Oracle databases, writing SQL queries, and integrating with mobile apps.
• Experience with JSON and XML for data parsing and integration.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of apps developed using Android Studio.
• Experience with PHP backend integration, including REST API consumption.
• Familiarity with Oracle database integration in mobile applications.
• Proven experience in debugging, testing, and optimizing mobile applications for performance.

Other Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver high-quality results in a timely manner.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
