HP is hiring for the role of Android Camera App Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

•  Development of Camera App for mobile and devices.
•  Work on camera software stacks including camera framework, camera HAL, and kernel driver controller
•  Analysis & Debug of general camera issues
•  Collaborate with camera sensor vendors for Camera Sensor module bring-up
•  Improve Camera performance, power and memory and develop related tools to validate them

 Requirements:

• Strong analytical & programming skills in C/C++/Java/Kotlin.
• Expert in Android Camera Stack
• Strong understanding of operating system concepts with hands-on experience on multithreaded & multicore environments.
• Deep understanding (hands-on development) of Linux Kernel & device drivers
• A good understanding of Android architecture, MM framework, buffer management, and Android HAL layer adaptation is a plus.
• Working knowledge of SCM tools (git hub, etc.) & developer tools (Android studio)
• Strong debugging skills (crash/memory/panic etc.).
• Experience in Camera development on Qualcomm/MediaTek platforms a plus.
• Responsible team player with good communication skills.
• Ability to technically lead a team of engineers and maintain effective communication.
• Quick learner of new concepts with a creative mindset.
• Ability to decipher requirements into actionable tasks with a clear outcome.
