Fuel Media is hiring for the role of Android Application Developer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop new mobile applications for the Android platform.
• Take control/understanding of the project’s full cycles from concept-making to launching.
• Report development work to our USA, UK, and Australian clients.
• Use Android frameworks that would actually assist in creating user interfaces faster and easier.
• Be proactive participants in the teamwork and brainstorming for the successful implementation of the project.
• Understand the client's needs and objectives in order to deliver the projects successfully in time with all required quality.
• Implement new products and features, also enhance it as per client’s requirement.
• Keep up to date on the latest industry trends on mobile technologies and innovation front.

Requirements:

• B. Tech or B.E. in Computer Science/IT with 1-3 years of experience in Android app development.
• Strong knowledge of design and programming skills in Java.
• Should be expertise in Android 2.2 + SDK/NDK Development (Web Services & APIs, Social Network Integration, LBS, Content Providers, UI and XML Layout Design etc.).
• Proficient with XML and JSON.
• Good knowledge in databases (SQLite3, MySQL).
• Good Knowledge in Google API's.
• Basic experience in Eclipse.
• Working knowledge in code analysis tools such as PMD and Find Bugs.
• Well aware-of how to publish mobile applications in the Android market.
• Basic knowledge of Hybrid mobile Applications.
• Knowledge of Open Source CMS such as WordPress, Joomla, and Magento will be an additional advantage.
• Knowledge of Gaming application programming will be an additional advantage.
• Self-motivated and learning attitude
• Excellent reporting and project coordination skills.
