Carrier is hiring for the role of Analytics Leader!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Leads the design and support of enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and architecture.
• Leads the development of standards, policies, and procedures for the form, structure, and attributes of business intelligence tools and systems.
• Defines and executes useful analyses to solve problems.
• Optimizes the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and index that add value to the user.
• Creates testing methodologies and criteria. Leads the development of data/information quality metrics.
• Researches new technologies and develops business cases to support their use. Identifies data trends, generates insights, and comes to business conclusions.
• Supports strategic decision-making across the organization.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Analytics Manager or Data Scientist
• Solid experience in data analysis and reporting; industry experience is a plus
• Background in market research and project management
• Knowledge of Excel, R, and SQL; familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, SAS, Power BI)
• Knowledge of Data warehouses, Data lakes, and Pipelines for ingesting and processing data is a plus
• AI Roadmap vis-a-vis Business vision/goals/initiatives (VGIs)
• Ideas & insights into newer AI-powered business models
• Projects/products implementation methodologies/processes (agile etc.)
• AI algorithms, research & related roadmap
• Data Science platform/products architecture/design/implementation vis-a-vis cloud AI services
• AI governance (ethical AI) and related processes
• Communication with customers/partners/media/internal
• Hiring/Training/Mentoring
• Partner with other COEs/Vendors to deliver projects, initiatives, and IT service improvements for the BUs.
• Ensure AI roadmap is aligned with Carrier’s IT overall Digital and Business Strategy
