Rockwell Automation is hiring for the position of Analytics Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, code and test new analytics applications, including supporting applications and interfaces
• Support cross-functional development activity in various Analytics and Connected Enterprise related projects, for internal and external customers
• Develop and test infrastructure components in Cloud and Edge-level environments
• Monitor industry trends and identifies opportunities to implement new technologies
• Manage the DevOps pipeline deployment model
• Enable automated testing procedures
• Implement software in all environments
• Leverage containerization models and works with other engineers and architects to keep the architecture current
• Assist in the support and enhancement of applications
• Write high-quality code compliant with regulations
• Collaborate with business systems analysts and product owners to define requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, software engineering, management information systems, or related field
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
• Experience in the systems development lifecycle
• Experience in Analytical concepts and implementations
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and system/process documentation
• Experience with server-side architectures and containerization
• Experience with Data Modeling, designing Star Schema or other models based on the requirements.
• Experience with DAX, M! (Power Query), SQL, Tabular models, or other domain-specific programming languages
• Experience with AAS, SSAS, Power BI, SSMS, Dataflow, SSIS, Data factory, SharePoint
• Experience with managing and administering Power BI Gateways.
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, flow and Power Apps)
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.
