Cummins is hiring for the role of Analytics Analyst - Quality!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Supports data, compliance, and environment governance processes for the assigned domain. Facilitates an intake process for assigned domain to reduce rework and promote reuse of analytics solutions. 
• Collaborates with peers to integrate data from warehouse, data lake and other source systems to build relevant models for use by the business.
• Cleanses data to ensure report accuracy and reduce data duplication, and maintain documentation of the cleansing process.
• Supports analytics projects to produce insights for the business to improve decision making, and delivers results using reports, business intelligence technology or other appropriate mechanisms. 
• Data Modeling - Creates, writes and tests data models, test scripts and build scripts using industry standards and tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Py Spark.
• Proficient in Databricks notebooks and job orchestration.
• Solid understanding of data architecture and solution design principles.
• Familiarity with Reliability concepts.
• Experience with performance tuning and debugging distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and data modeling concepts.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
