Acuity Knowledge Partners is hiring for the role of Analyst - VBA!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Participate in gathering all necessary automation requirements and work with team members to identify such requirements and automation opportunities.
• Do a high concentration of testing robotic processes to verify steps are completed accurately in a technical manner following the team's operating model for delivery and governance.
• Utilize VBA in new and existing Excel-based tools to automate recurring work processes.
• Integrate capability in Excel-based tools to both pull and push data from/to SQL Server or any other databases.
• Lead integration and UAT tests to identify and correct any issues with the technical setup of the process.
• Train associates (users) on how to use and maintain the automation, including automation and escalating any automation-related issues to the manager and appropriate stakeholders.
• Work and thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment. Designs and develops all MS Office automation-related work with the value of the business users in mind and utilizes technology to its most efficient ability.
• Support deployments and/or troubleshoot production issues outside of work hours and as needed.
• Be responsible for troubleshooting and implementing any bug-fix as directed by the Tech Lead for any RPA process while supporting, analyzing, and implementing enhancements. Effective and timely communication with the RPA manager and appropriate stakeholders is expected.
• Work collaboratively in a global setting, should be eager to learn new technologies.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT
• This position required hands-on experience in Excel VBA Programming and not just Reporting and/or experience with recording and maintaining macros
• Excellent programming skills in languages such as VBA, .NET, C#, or Python.
• Strong problem solving & analytical skills
• Willingness to continually upgrade skills and knowledge of new technologies
• Self-motivated individual with an ability to handle high-pressure situations
• High level of attention to detail
