Analyst, Treasury Ops Job in Mumbai at Apollo Global Management

• Opening new Corporate bank accounts, including those located at partner bank branches in both the U.S. and internationally.
• Becoming a subject-matter expert on bank account requirements across different jurisdictions and counterparties; investigating ways to streamline the account opening process and reduce the time/effort required.
• Managing responsibilities related to monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes, including the performance of key SOX controls and reconciliation of the master Apollo bank account list.
• Handling ad-hoc KYC refresh requests from banks and helping resolve them in a timely fashion.
• Assisting with the management of Treasury data within the Kyriba Treasury Workstation and helping to resolve any gaps/discrepancies.
• Managing quarterly collection of both bank spending and fund financing data across the firm while building and leveraging relationships with multiple finance and front office touchpoints. Investigate potential ways to automate and streamline the data aggregation process.
• Helping optimize the cash management model to support Apollo’s continued international growth and expansion.
• Improving bank-related matters, including signature authority, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Supporting the firms’ growth in Asia Pacific for Treasury operational matters.   
• Assisting Treasury team members with the preparation of analyses and presentations to senior management.
• Managing data aggregation and validation for the annual FBAR reporting process.

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in business-related concentration (Finance, Accounting or Economics)
• CTP is desirable but not mandatory
• 2-4 years of related work experience in Corporate Treasury / Banking function
• Proficiency in Excel is required
• Strong knowledge of Word and PowerPoint a plus
• Prior experience with Kyriba TMS modules is desired but not mandatory
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and business acumen
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting concepts
