Analyst - Transactions/M&A Job in Bangalore at Boston Consulting Group (BCG)

BCG is hiring for the role of Analyst - Transactions/M&A! 

Responsibilities Of Candidate: 

• Understanding of the buy-side and sell-side M&A process, including key steps, timelines, documents, etc.
• Building and creating detailed business plans and financial models for M&A, divestiture, and other corporate transactions cases
• Applying Transaction and Corporate Finance expertise when contributing to product/tool development and deployment, taking different client contexts into account
• Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working
• Communicating with senior stakeholders, in a credible, structured, and confident way
• Framing, structuring, and sharing intellectual property, with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
• Working creatively and analytically in a time-limited, problem-solving environment
• Flexibility and a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas.
• Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
• 1+ years of consulting experience in relevant topics (Transactions/M&A, Corporate Finance, Integrations/PMI, Business Separations/Carve-outs, or similar topics) required; candidates with consulting experience are strongly preferred
• In lieu of consulting experience, 2+ years minimum industry experience is required
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment
• Knowledge and experience of new age financial modeling tools (e.g. Anaplan) and advanced Excel tools (e.g. Power Pivot) are beneficiaries
• Fluency in English; Other languages (e.g. Arabic) are beneficiary
