Analyst - Sustainability(S&R) Job in New Delhi at Bain & Company

Bain & Co. is hiring for the role of Analyst - Sustainability(S&R)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Build and apply deep expertise in sustainability topics, including emission benchmarking, baselining and deep-dives on regulations etc. 
• Develop models for Scope 1–3 emissions using globally recognized frameworks such as the GHG Protocol. 
• Monitor and interpret evolving S&R regulations and global standards to ensure compliance and best practices. 
• Support the design and implementation of comprehensive sustainability strategies aligned with regulatory frameworks and business objectives

Requirements:

• Proficiently identify and use relevant analytical tools to deliver zero-defect outputs across all workstreams, ensuring quality and reliability in analysis. 
• Synthesize insights from data trends and patterns to identify key opportunities and risks. 
• Communication and Stakeholder engagement – 
• Clearly articulate findings, insights, and implications to both internal and external stakeholders through concise and impactful communication. 
• Strong technical writing skills to effectively communicate ESG data, methodologies, and insights in reports, policies, and disclosures. 
• Work closely with Associates and Project Leaders to resolve complex issues across workstreams, providing actionable insights and recommendations. 
• Leverage advanced data analytics tools, including Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, and / or Tableau Prep to analyze data and create impactful visualizations. 
• Identify ways to leverage AI in our everyday processes, enhancing the efficiency of the team. 
• Bachelor’s degree with 0.5-1 years of experience, preferably having an ESG exposure. 
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics skills and familiarity with Tableau and/or Alteryx; Background in data analytics/data science or engineering is strongly preferred. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple complex tasks, summarize and generate clear recommendations.  
• Exceptional team collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
