Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Monitor Social Media and Digital Platforms: Track real-time data streams across various social and digital media sources to identify trends, breaking news, and high-impact content.
• Content Quality Assurance (QA): Evaluate algorithmic data streams and apply quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy, relevance, and adherence to platform guidelines.
• Data Validation & Audit: Programmatically apply business rules to validate data and ensure it meets internal quality standards.
• Support Workflow Optimization: Provide feedback to improve internal QA tools and participate in user research studies to enhance user experience (UX).
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including content moderators, engineers, and data analysts to enhance platform performance and content quality.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear documentation of QA processes, issues identified, and improvements made.
• Adapt to Policy Updates: Stay current with evolving platform policies, processes, and procedures and integrate changes into daily work.
• Multitask & Prioritize: Efficiently handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Results-Oriented Execution: Focus on achieving measurable quality and productivity goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Journalism, Communications, English, Political or Social Sciences, or a related field.
• 0–6 years of professional experience, preferably in:
• Reporting or journalism (especially breaking news),
• Digital media or social media analysis,
• Quality assurance or data validation roles.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and interpret real-time data.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Comfortable with QA tools and willing to participate in UX research.
• Adaptable to rapidly changing environments and evolving priorities.
• Goal-oriented with a strong drive to deliver results.
• Additional Qualifications:
• Professional proficiency in a foreign language is a plus.
• Knowledge of social media platforms, content trends, or misinformation issues is beneficial.
