Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Establishes hiring needs with line managers and determines position requirements.
• Advertise jobs through newspapers, internal online postings, and job fairs.
• Advises managers on the best sources for hiring.
• Reviews and sorts internal and external resumes.
• Pre-screens entry-level candidates, through face-to-face and telephone interviews.
• Schedules interviews.
• Presents Northern Trust as an employer of choice.
• Communicates Northern¿s hiring policies, practices, and procedures.
• Provides service center with new hire information for employee orientation.
• Reviews sources of candidate data (tests, interviews assessments) and makes hiring recommendations to managers.
• Ensures that all hiring documentation is complete and meets compliance requirements.
• Communicates job duties and responsibilities, compensation, work schedules, and working conditions to applicants.
• Maintains recruiting reports and applicant tracking database.
• Runs report for hiring managers and may run complex reports and undertake analysis of recruitment statistics.

• Has good consulting, client servicing, and influencing skills and ability to build relationships with line managers.
