Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Value private equity and credit investments, including understanding investments, conducting industry research, and analyzing portfolio company fundamentals.
• Perform in-depth competitor analysis for investment evaluation.
• Build, update, and maintain valuation models incorporating the terms of the investment, ensuring adherence to accounting/audit guidelines.
• Prepare detailed documentation of valuation methodology.
• Monitor deal inputs and assumptions, reviewing their relevance periodically.
• Facilitate valuation reviews by third parties (CITCO, Kroll) and auditors (EY).
• Create summaries highlighting significant changes/events and industry analyses for presentation to valuations committees.
• Develop and review controls for overseeing the pricing of various Equity/Fixed Income and derivatives (OTC and Exchange Traded) products.

Requirements:

• Candidate should have a Master’s degree in finance or equivalent, with 0-1 years of business valuations experience in Private Equity/debt or investment banking space.
• The candidate should have an understanding of various Equity/Fixed Income and derivatives (OTC and Exchange Traded) products.
• The ideal candidate should have exceptional valuation, research, and financial modeling skills including excellent analytical and quantitative skills as well as the ability to perform in-depth, innovative, critical analysis.
• Candidate should be able to develop a sound knowledge of the economic/characteristics, conditions, and trends of a broad range of geographies, industries, and their investment characteristics.
• The candidate should have excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills (both oral and written), with proven ability to articulate sophisticated ideas, issues, and recommendations effectively.
