Target is hiring for the role of Analyst Operational Insights!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Understand Target’s business and technical environments. Assists teams in resolving complex business challenges via technical solutions.
• Identify appropriate data, metrics and determine appropriate business requirements
• Collaborate with business partners to translate business requirements into technical requirements and drive requirements into solutions
• Create mockup/MVP of reports/solutions and solicit feedback
• Use data to create business domain-specific models, use the feedback loop to continuously improve the accuracy
• Work across business lines to remove barriers and generate strong support for strategies, ideas, and plans.
• Develop best methods and practices on governance for reports.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience of the above mentioned technologies
• Engineering degree in CS/IT preferred
• Proficient and hands-on experience on SQL & Python
• Minimum 1 year of experience in forecasting in retail/supply chain through modelling
• Data visualisation experience & ability to create impactful dashboards
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) – Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
