FinacPlus is hiring for the role of Analyst - Mortgage Underwriting-R Capital!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• To Work on US Mortgage Underwriting Process of 12M/30 Year Loan Products
• Experience in working on residential real estate assets.
• Examines and evaluates documents such as Credit & Background reports, Loan application forms, financial statements, entity documents and all processing documentation.
• Knowledge of all aspects of real estate including underwriting valuation, purchases/sales, due diligence, and legal, title and escrow documentation.
• Understanding of property appraisal reports, insurance, title review, and multiple facets of a construction loan – from small renovations to ground-up construction.
• Interface with all departments to obtain further information, quote rates, present proposals, and explain company underwriting policies.
• Verify market comparable for both rental values as well as property sale values.
• Develops and maintains an up to date and sound knowledge of multiple loan product guidelines offered by the company and risk assessment tools used to decision loans.
• Demonstrated ability to assess risks with experience presenting recommendations to senior management for approval.

Requirements:

• A range of 2 – 4 years of experience in US Mortgage 12M/30 Year Loan Underwriting
• Well versed with skills to review and analysis of Property Appraisals
• Strong knowledge of guidelines related to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentations to senior management.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, MBA, M. Com, or other post-Grad Degree in Finance a plus
• Advanced Excel Skills
