Analyst - Internal Reporting Job in Chennai at Barclays

Barclays is hiring for the role of Analyst - Internal Reporting!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Ensure adherence to and compliance with governance, risk policies, procedures and compliance policies.
• Be part of Corporate Bank’s reporting team in Chennai and its deliverables which cuts across Corporate banking business. The candidate is required to have a strong understanding of accounting methodologies related to Corporate Banking products and should be able to identify discrepancies (if any).
• Manage the existing reporting deliveries and new migration which needs to be stabilized over a short period. 
• Partner with business/finance colleagues in the resolution of critical/complex queries from business especially around monthly movement in financials. Given the legacy nature of the systems, there will be many challenging tasks to handle and resolve efficiently which also requires close interactions with other functional teams. 

Requirements:

• Preferably a Chartered Accountant or MBA with relevant experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, proficient in Cognos, and Tableau - designing innovative solutions to drive efficiencies and good report presentation skills
