Analyst I - Finance Operations Job in Bangalore at DXC Technology

DXC Technology is hiring for the role of Analyst I - Finance Operations!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Download the bank statements from the bank portals and upload them daily and timely on the SharePoint for Collectors’ visibility
• Post all payments received on the same day and apply invoices applied on the next day. All the posting and applications will be done in a compliant way as per the processes and procedures
• Send regular reports of Unapplieds and Unknown Cash to ensure they get closed in 48 hours Ensure all payments are posted with the required document type and posting key
• Book all write-offs in the correct GL with the right reason code and subsequent approvals
• Provide proactive and clear communications to the internal partners focused on solutions and improvements
• Use the existing automation and work with the team on how to address the existing challenges. Example: Minimize the human touch as much as possible on every single activity whether is downloading statements, posting payments, clearing, processing write-offs, sending unapplied lists etc.
• Complete the monthly reconciliation in the Cadency Finance tool and work with the different internal partners to document everything accordingly

Requirements:

• Economical background/Finance or O2C work experience (Billing, Collections, Cash Application or Structure Setup)
• Good level of English is a must
• Excellent attitude towards learning and self-development
• Ability to work under pressure during month ends
• Excellent communication skills and team spirit
• Experience Required: 0-2 years of experience
