Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Consulting Capability:
  • Delivers or contributes to the development of work products throughout at least one phase of an engagement
  • Co-facilitates group discussions with team members or client representatives
  • Uses recognized methods to deliver work products
  • Contributes to risk and issue identification and synthesis of solutions 
• Industry Knowledge Capability:
  • Delivers work products and demonstrates a broad knowledge of an industry
  • Collects and analyzes information specific to the industry to recommend alternatives
  • Proactively develops additional knowledge applicable to the area of expertise
• Project Delivery:
  • Manages personal accountabilities during at least one phase in an overall engagement 
  • Weekly/monthly report write-ups (this could cross multiple projects)
  • Workstream RAID follow-up contacts (RAID is our project tracking file for risks, action items, issues, and decisions)
  • Notes distribution
  • RAID log entries
  • Configuration metrics tracking
  • JIRA variance metrics tracking
  • Requirements tracing metrics tracking
  • Document management
  • Travel coordination
  • Presentation organization/content review

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Arts or Science, preferably in business, math, or engineering OR relevant business experience. 0-2 years experience in a business/consulting environment.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools (any Project experience would be useful)
• Good at taking direction
• Clear and effective communicator (emphasis here as we will not have daily touchpoints in real-time)
• Experience with electric utility systems (ADMS, EMS) as an engineer, operator, etc.
• General utility systems experience
• Application testing/implementation/configuration/cutover
• PMO support experience
