Analyst (Climate Change and Sustainability) Job in Delhi at IPE Global Private Limited

IPE Global Private Limited is hiring for the role of Analyst (Climate Change and Sustainability)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Support in identifying new business opportunities within India, South Asia, and Africa, developing leads, and contacting potential donors. 
• Play a key role in managing proposal efforts and resources, including timeline and action planning, identification of proposal team members, facilitation of external partner meetings, efficient communications, and organisation of proposal components, including cost and budget
• Expand on CCS’s current work, and identify growth opportunities in close partnership with team leaders and senior management. 
• Write high-quality technical proposals and contribute to all aspects of financial proposal development. 
• Undertake independent research to identify suitable donors, assess donor needs and alignment, conduct outreach activities and meetings with potential funders, and develop and make proposal presentations.
• Provide support to identify and secure partners, consultants, and full-time staff.
• Coordinate with project implementation teams to ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables.
• Perform project management activities, including reviewing and submitting project reports/proposals to donors, developing budgets and work plans, and backstopping operations as needed.
• Develop thought leadership content such as evidence papers, policy notes, and research publications. 
• Write project reports and deliverables for individual projects.

Requirements: 

• Previous experience developing multi-year proposals for bilateral/multilateral organisations, foundations and philanthropies. A good grasp of the Climate Change sector is a must 
• Experience and knowledge of climate change policy and program development, especially with low carbon and decarbonisation announcements and regulations, demonstrated experience working with government agencies, stakeholder groups, and others, and experience with and understanding of climate financial markets
• Experience working with Governments and international aid agencies
• Experienced in working with data and comfortable using Excel spreadsheets as well as online data capture and reporting tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a commitment to mentoring and team development
• Education/Qualification:
  • Master’s degree with a specialisation in Climate Science, Environmental Science, GIS Environment Technology, Urban Planning, Project Management and/or other relevant fields is a must. At least 2 years of relevant experience
