Analyst - Audits and Conflicts Job in Hyderabad at Deloitte

Deloitte is hiring for the role of Analyst - Audits and Conflicts!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform specific portions of personal independence audits of the DTTL Canada Partners,  Directors, and Managers by applying a detailed audit process and reviewing submitted audit materials for compliance with DTTL Canada Independence policies
• Manage multiple auditees simultaneously, track progress, and report to local management their progress and any issues that arise.  Effectively communicate with locals and Canada peers, reviewers, and management.
• Review the proposed scope of services, identify potential conflicts of interest of new or existing engagements to be provided, and analyze the search results to help identify potential conflicts that may arise from the service offering.
• Prepare and circulate a conflict check message to the affected personnel, monitor the responses received, and liaise with other conflict team members in the Deloitte network.
• Conduct detailed external research on company ownership/affiliations both with specialized research tools and public information to identify all related parties.
• Escalate any potential issues to management for resolution

Requirements:

• MBA/PGDM (Finance) or equivalent qualification with 2-3 years of audits/compliance experience. (60% or 6.5 GPA and above throughout without any running backlogs)
• Ability to become well-versed in the Firm’s Independence policies and other related firm policies
• Excellent verbal and written business communication skills, prior exposure to international business correspondence a plus
• Understanding Independence requirements for a professional services/audit firm is a plus
• Ability to interact professionally with senior leadership and other stakeholders.
• Should be flexible on work timings and may be required to work outside of normal business hours during peak periods
• Ability to apply Firm policies to various fact patterns
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Ability to quickly learn technical tools including Microsoft Office applications and other database tools
• Excellent organizational aptitude and interpersonal skills
