Analyst - Actuarial Pricing Job in Bangalore at CHUBB

CHUBB is hiring for the role of Analyst - Actuarial Pricing!

Responsibilties of the Candidate:

• Reviewing the data, conducting reasonableness checks, and resolving data anomalies
• Proposing selections of premium and loss trends assumptions, and preliminary loss development factors, and obtaining the excess of loss and cat loads
• Producing statutory rate indications, and revising them based on feedback
• Running the policy impact analysis, and incorporating the state capping rules, if applicable
• Documentation activities, such as updating the rate table templates, drafting the required filing materials, assembling a filing package, drafting responses to objections from the Department of Insurance (DOI), etc.

Requirements:

• A Graduate/Post Graduate degree, with a relevant major
• Fresher, or up to 2 years of work experience in a similar / related role
• Decent actuarial exam progress - at least 1 and up to 5 exams passed
• Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work flexibly and communicate appropriately with stakeholders from different time zones
• Eagerness to learn the craft and build a reputation for dependability (in terms of both quality and timeliness of work)
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Proficiency in spoken and written English, and in MS Office Suite.
