Barclays is hiring for the role of  Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Ensuring all processes are completed within the relevant timescales and service levels are maintained
• Maintaining and developing own up-to-date specialist process and system knowledge to act as a point of reference
• Dealing with group-on-group queries for legal entity
• Ensuring the review process through review packs
• Investigating and resolving problems, issues, and queries liaising, with customers, suppliers and other experts, as appropriate
• Partnering with stakeholders on solutions when dealing with issues/ challenges raised by them.
• Assisting with ad-hoc projects and reporting requirements as they arise
• Helping in the closure of books of accounts

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant – CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, ICWA with strong and relevant financial control experience
• Strong understanding/practical experience on the application of Accounting Standards/IFRS and control awareness
• Enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter, proactive, and team player with strong interpersonal skills and excellent communicator
• Internal candidates working in Financial Control at the BA4 level in their current role for last 1 year
• Experience of working in SAP financial accounting & BCE
• Good Accounting and IT System skills
• Practical experience on new aged systems/technologies like GTB, Alteryx, MS tools, etc. will be an added advantage
• Banking or Big4 experience preferred
