Blackrock is hiring for the role of Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Review and setup of securities within the accounting system to facilitate the processing of investment transactions
• Process daily investment transactions from numerous external investment managers; in some cases, these need to be processed manually
• Supervise all the automated jobs and resolve, if there is any exception or failure
• Perform quality control processes and procedures to ensure the accuracy of data
• Evaluate systems, and procedures and make recommendations for improvement
• Participate in various efficiency and capacity-building initiatives, including automation/ standardization efforts
• Maintain accurate process documents and train team members to ensure holistic understanding
• Record metrics related to responsibilities to enable management to have a good view of team productivity and efficiency

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of relevant experience in data management operations/trade life cycle operations/transaction management
• Possess and demonstrate a proven understanding of various investment products and finance theory; a strong understanding of fixed income and derivative products preferred
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Excel functions, SQL, Unix commands, etc. strongly preferred
• Exceptional decision-making and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapid changing, deadline-driven environment
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills
• Multi-task and balance requests without losing sight of overall objective
