MediaTek is hiring for the role of Analog RF Design Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Design, supervise layout, help characterize analog and RFIC circuits for Mediatek’s Connectivity products
- Collaborate with Singapore and Taiwan teams to develop innovative circuit and system solutions for challenging problems
- Work on specification definition, architecture feasibility evaluation, circuit design, layout, post-silicon evaluation
- Ensure Circuit design quality and efficient troubleshooting
- Communicate with worldwide Mediatek teams for good collaborative efficiency
Requirements:
- (M.Tech/MS)+2 years experience (with one Tape out) or PhD degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with a strong educational background in Analog and RFIC circuit design
- Solid understanding of highly scaled CMOS process and device characteristics, and scaling-related impact on circuit design
- Experience in designing any of the following, Mixer, PA, VCO, PLL, Analog Baseband Filter, TIA
- Experience with Cadence IC design tools (SpectreRF, virtuoso schematic capture, layout, layout verification and parasitic extraction), EM Simulators (EMX, HFSS), MATLAB and Scripting (Shell, Python)
- Experience using lab equipment such as Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Multi-Meters (DMMs), etc.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills
