AML Monitoring Specialist Job in Chennai at NTT DATA

NTT Data is hiring for the role of AML Monitoring Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Detect, review, and log suspected Anti-Money Laundering (AML) activity.
• Escalate suspicious AML cases to internal team members and assist in related queries.
• Monitor and analyze internal operations, controls, and communications for AML compliance.
• Assist in the preparation, testing, and monitoring of compliance with U.S. State and Federal AML regulations.
• Maintain and draft compliance documentation, including procedures, job aids, and matrices.
• Support internal audits and collaborate with clients and compliance teams.
• Monitor functional areas for potential AML risks and recommend necessary changes.
• Participate in compliance-related projects and initiatives, especially related to AML reporting.
• Work independently on assigned tasks and seek assistance when necessary.
• Prepare and maintain compliance agreements and related documents.
• Provide support for cross-training opportunities in other compliance areas.

• Solid understanding or willingness to develop knowledge of the insurance industry and relevant products/services.
• Capability to work independently and make decisions with strategic impact.

• Willingness to collaborate across teams and handle multiple projects.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST.
