Maruti Suzuki is hiring for the role of AM- Interior Designer (Vehicle Design)!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Design of automotive interior, overall interiors and components (Instrument panel, HVAC and SRS systems). This includes initial research, ideation and renders
- Create 3D and 2D visualization
- Create part designs with focus on quality and aesthetics
- Work in collaboration with engineering, QA and other concerned teams to design and develop a vehicle interior
Requirements:
- Master’s degree (M Des) in Automobile design/industrial design/product design or equivalent
- 3D form sketching and render generation skills
- Basic knowledge of the surfacing and 3D modelling
- Knowledge of 3D software like ALIAS, Rhina, and Surfacer would be an added advantage
- Study and benchmark to map future trends in interior
- Mood board and concept generation: based on user research benchmarking and trend mapping develop the Product design concept, mood boards for different products for automotive interior
