AM/DM Supplier Quality -Casting Job in Nagpur at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. is hiring for the role of AM/DM Supplier Quality -Casting!

Responsibilities of Candidate:

• Good Knowledge of Foundry Technology processes of Grey Cast Iron & SG Iron and Machining processes. Sound knowledge of metallurgy & effect of minor trace elements over casting.
• Identify internal & external customer needs and take concrete steps to address these needs at the supplier.
• Ensure adherence to systems and procedures as specified
• Analysis of the issues reported by internal Customers as well as field issues and initiating concrete actions at the suppliers' end.
• Solve problems / make improvements with the help of statistical tools and drive continual PPM Reduction
• Compilation of meaningful MIS reports for the senior levels
• Encourage  suppliers to achieve Quality Management  Systems to ISO/TS accreditation
• Ensures that location targets are executed as per agreed plans
• Help identified suppliers to develop to the desired levels of Quality by auditing and suggesting process improvements
• VPPAP approval for new development components for alternate source/new product /irritant group
• Ensuring the first time & every the right product
• Evaluate new Suppliers

Job Requirements:

• B.Tech BE (Mechanical/Automobile/Production)
• 4-6 years in Automobile working in Supplier Quality Assurance
• Strong technical knowledge – Casting and machining Processes,
• Knowledge of statistical tools / Statistical approach
