Maruti Suzuki is hiring for the role of AM/DM: Press Equipment & Facility Planning!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Understanding project timelines and analyzing critical paths to achieve targets.
• Finalizing specifications for equipment after understanding the project scope and implementing feedback from internal customers.
• Procuring equipment with the latest technologies and selecting procurement partners.
• Approving designs and buying off equipment.
• Commissioning all facilities and equipment in the Press Shop.
• Understanding lean manufacturing and Six Sigma, and implementing them in work areas.
• Ensuring a safe environment and quality assurance during the installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Analyzing production requirements to propose and implement countermeasures related to space and capacity planning to match production targets.

Requirements:

• Functional/Technical:
  • Sound knowledge of Press shop Equipments (Press, EOT Crane, Conveyor) & Press shop operation mandatory
  • Hands-on Experience in the Erection & Commissioning of equipment.
  • Work experience in Greenfield projects will be preferred.
  • Expertise in press machine accuracy check and Robot teaching/simulation/troubleshooting
  • AutoCAD, Knowledge of PLC/Drives mandatory
  • Proficiency in MS Excel Advanced & MS PowerPoint
