Maruti Suzuki is hiring for the role of AM/DM/MGR - Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Battery Design!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Understand electrical architecture of HEV/EV
- Assist with conceptualization, layout, design, and development of HEV/EV Lithium Ion Battery pack
- Assist with specification determination, testing, and evaluation of components and sub system
- Assist with cost and weight optimization through VA/VE and Benchmarking
- Coordinate with other design departments/ suppliers & related agencies for design and development Activities
Requirements:
- Ability to work on DMU /3D Modeling/2D Drawing
- Ability to work on UNIGRAPHICS (desirable)
- Working experience of Lithium Ion battery design, child part development and testing
- Knowledge of design, safety and test standards of Lithium Ion traction battery
- Knowledge of types of cells/modules, chemistry, electrical characteristics, battery packs architectures etc.
- Experience in testing at pack level and vehicle level testing.
- Exposure to Hybrid / Electric Powertrain Control Design, development, Verification and Validation. Familiarity with on board diagnostics.
- Exposure to HEV/EV Regulations such as AIS 038, AIS 049, AIS 048
