Maruti Suzuki is hiring for the role of AM/DM - Fire Group (Market Quality)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Examining the scene of the fire or explosion: The fire case investigator arrives at the scene of the fire or explosion to determine the extent of damage, identify the area of origin, and collect evidence.
• Gathering evidence: The investigator collects evidence such as debris, photographs, and videos, and takes measurements and notes.
• Analyzing evidence: The investigator analyzes the evidence collected from the scene and determines the cause and origin of the fire or explosion.
• Writing reports: The investigator prepares detailed reports that document their findings and conclusions.
• Testifying in court: The investigator may be required to testify in court as an expert witness.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of fire science and investigation techniques.
• Ability to identify and preserve evidence at the scene of a fire.
• Understanding of fire dynamics and behavior.
• Analytical skills to conclude the cause of the fire.
• Communication skills to work effectively with other investigators and stakeholders.
• Report writing skills to document findings and conclusions.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations related to fire investigation.
• Technical skills to use specialized equipment and tools. (GCMS, Thin Layer Chromatography, Plastic Material Knowledge.)
• Continuing education to stay up to date with the latest developments in fire investigation.
