AM/DM - Export Homologation Test Engineer Job in Gurgaon at Maruti Suzuki India Limited

Maruti Suzuki India Limited is hiring for the role of AM/DM - Export Homologation Test Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Understanding of current certification requirements all over the world.
• Ensuring coordination with SMC and Engineering for Technical spec collection for homologation
• Doing Vehicle planning for export certification.
• Ensuring Coordination with SMC and distributors for homologation of MSIL models.
• Doing a Study of future regulation and incorporation of future requirements in certification planning.
• Taking care of Export Regulations for FE/Road Load/Emissions/Safety etc.

Requirements:

• Should have strong know-how and hands-on experience
• Should understand ECE/EEC regulations and local regulations for major countries
• Should have handled certification work for passenger cars
• Should have witnessed homologation testing
• Should have dealt with Export technical services like TUV/IDIADA etc.
• Long-term commitment to MSIL
• Team player, Eager for learning & confident attitude
• Flexible approach
• Openness towards traveling & overseas trainings
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good understanding of Emission and Coast down regulations, Petrol/CNG powertrains and HEV/EV-related electric safety requirements(preferred)
  • Good understanding of WVTA including Active & Passive Safety requirements and testing, documentation, Audits etc.
  • Good understanding of future regulations such as WLTP and CAFE
