AM/DM- Automobile Welding Jig Development and Vehicle Quality Control Job in Gurgaon at Maruti Suzuki India Limited

Maruti Suzuki is hiring for the role of AM/DM- Automobile Welding Jig Development and Vehicle Quality Control!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• DMU Study and BIW process planning for DP trial execution.
• Prototype welding jig concept making and jig development through supplier.
• Source (RFQ, Negotiation, Target Cost, PO) of Welding jigs.
• BIW inspection and countermeasure for meeting accuracy target.
• Sheet metal parts inspection and holding fixture concept making.
• Layout and facility planning. 
• Create extensive processes and sustainable check sheets for part inspection and quality checks

Requirements:

• Sound understanding of passenger vehicle construction and quality requirements.
• Knowledge of welding processes and a general understanding of the machining process
• Knowledge of welding jigs and fixtures for spot welding operations.
• Knowledge of inspection processes of sheet metal parts and BIW (like CMM/Laser scanning)
• Knowledge of part drawings, Tolerance stack up, basic GD&T, and SES quality standards
• Basic UG/CAD skill
• Good communication skills, interaction with internal customers and suppliers
• Project management, execution, and monitoring skill
• Quality management system (ISO) knowledge
