AI/ML Python Developer Job in Bengaluru at NetApp

NetApp is hiring for the role of AI/ML Python Developer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Solve creative and analytical problems related to AI/ML and software development.
• Design and develop scalable AI/ML microservices using Kubernetes, Istio, serverless platforms.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for MLOps and AI system deployments.
• Optimize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems for performance and accuracy.
• Implement vector similarity search solutions using Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, or FAISS.
• Extend intelligent agent frameworks including rule-based, multi-agent, reinforcement learning, and large-language-model assistants.
• Develop, train, and fine-tune machine learning models for domains such as computer vision, speech recognition, and data analysis.
• Integrate AI systems with APIs, existing workflows, and external platforms.
• Preprocess and prepare large datasets for training, validation, and deployment.
• Monitor and optimize AI system performance through testing, debugging, and instrumentation.
• Contribute to building intelligent automation systems across robotics and AI-driven domains.
• Collaborate with global NetApp teams to share ideas, technical solutions, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 2 years focused on production AI/ML systems.
• Solid programming skills in Python and familiarity with AI development environments.
• Proficiency with version control and development tools such as Git and/or Perforce.
• Strong understanding of computer architecture, data structures, programming practices, and cloud technologies.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and knowledge of NoSQL or related data technologies is a plus.
• Expertise in frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar AI/ML tools.
• Ability to follow and improve engineering principles, practices, and system design methodologies.
• Solid communication skills—both written and oral—to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Industry certifications in AI/ML are advantageous.
