Aerospace Fuel System Engineer Job in Pune at Eaton

Eaton is hiring for the role of Aerospace Fuel System Engineer!

Responsiblities of the Candidate:

• Perform detailed design engineering using CAD platforms such as PRO/E, AutoCAD, RasterCAD etc.
• Help design for manufacturability & assembly assessment
• Provide manufacturability perspective for early concepts and help validate through building appropriate designs. Assist with building prototypes that help in proof of concepts
• Lead sustaining engineering and run projects independently.
• Create innovative product concepts based on breakthrough technologies for aerospace applications.
• Interact with global cross-functional teams.
• Prepare technical design details & drawings in compliance with drawing standards as per industry standards and prevailing engineering practices for Aerospace.  
• Create 3D models and drawings of the new product designs and modifications of the existing product.
• Shall leverage DFMA principles while working on engineering designs and drawings.
• Utilize the PLM (Enovia) system for documentation control and workflow.
• Creates and sustains processes for design standards and procedures governing product design methods, documents and data controls.
• Ensure first-time-right quality and on-time delivery of drawings & engineering documents.
• Drive Process Innovations leveraging Lean & DMAIC principles to continuously improve processes. Look for opportunities to improve productivity, learn and collaborate with other teams to adapt best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with 3-5 years experience
• Desired: Master’s Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with 0-2 years experience
• Demonstrated experience in leading technology, product development and innovation in similar engineering organizations
• Demonstrated experience with multinational engineering organizations. 
• Demonstrated experiences in requirements engineering, requirement elicitation, requirements validation & requirement compliance assessment.
• Experience with the Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodology and tools necessary. Desired DFSS Green Belt
• Experiences in systematic problem-solving methods and tools
• drawings and models
• The person in this position must be very proficient in CAD tools such as Pro/E, Solid Works, Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, CATIA assembly, and detailing to prepare CAD models and complete detailed designs/drawings
• A person should be an expert in drawings, dimensioning standards, tolerance standards & tolerance stack-up and engineering calculations as required to support design integrity
• Should have a good understanding of DFM & A (Design for Manufacturability & Assembly)
• Should have experience of working with Aerospace Fuel Products & Standards
• Should be able to analyze the work package and prepare a schedule for delivery
